So I bought a set of tanabes from another member here and just had them installed yesterday. The ride is quite bouncy and I only have 35k miles on the car.
I don't get why the ride sucks, my concern is the struts are bad but at the same time when I was stock height the ride was nice and smooth.
While the car was in the air I did notice that two of the struts were replace as they had a KYB sticker on them and the other two OEM.
I bought the car CPO at 30k miles and kind of concerned why such a low like car had only two struts replaced.
The car is a 2014 gs350 f sport, any ideas would be helpful as I feel my only next option is to go to a coilovers setup.

 

Maybe the previous owner had it lowered and had to replace the struts because of that?

 

Well, maybe but looking on KYB's website a replacement doesnt even exist. I will need to get back under the car and get the model of the strut and look it up to see which vehicle its for.

 

Anyone have squeaking noises come from rear after they installed their lowering springs, mine are intermittent.

 

I will be installing my springs next week, I have a little over 20k so I will let you know if I experience the same issue.
I hope I don't have to many issues.

 

Any more issues with the Tanabe springs? It's been two years... since last post on this thread.
