Default Tein flex avs

Hi guys, did some search on the forum regarding TEIN Flex Coilvers with AVS and found the last post was from 2016.

Have you guys seen this new product by TEIN and if anyone of you have had experience with this product? Supposedly we are able to retain the F-Sport AVS function with this coilovers.

Wanted to see if anyone has experience with TEIN before and if Swift Springs can be swapped on to TEIN coilovers.

Does what it says. You should be able to swap coil-over style springs but not strut type springs. However, most coil-overs should have a spring tuned properly for their specific design.

No point of getting the AVS one if you car doesn't have AVS though.

I understand. I've had teins on a few of my past vehicles and always been impressed by the quality and durability of the coilovers.

If you have AVS then yes..some base models come with AVS, not only F-sport models do but then again I'm not 100% sure about the AWD models

Just a question about the Tein flex AVS,

I've just put them in my 2010 GWS204 Toyota crown (same as the 190 series 450h)
And I'm finding the rear feels like it bottom's out on bumps with my kids in the rear. There's not scraping on the body but it's just a very unsettling feeling. Would adjusting the preload on this make a difference? I did buy them 2nd had and all ready put together and I've only adjusted the ride height.

Cheers
