Lowering and Adaptive Variable Suspension
Hello! I'm new to Lexus and this Forum. I recently acquired a 2019 GS 350 F Sport. I love the car, but have to complain about the gap between tire and fender. I would like to lower the car but concerned about damage to Adaptive Variable Suspension. Has anyone had experience with lowering a Lexus with Adaptive Variable Suspension. My experience is limited to "old school" suspension...no electronics. sans the electronics.

Thanks bob256k! A little pricey, but looks like what I need. I just spent a load on window tint (ceramic) and clear bra for front half of the car, so I will be saving my pennies up for coilovers. Thanks again!

I'm finding the Tein FlexAVS a few hundred less! Thanks for the suggestion. I need to get my GS looking like a sedan instead of a 4 wheel drive!!!! Sorry, but I prefer to see very little gap between tire and fender!

I agree, I wish Japanese car companies would follow BMW's lead.....less wheel gap. Check out any new Beemer vs a new Lexus, Acura etc. The Japanese vehicles look like 4 wheel drives! Maybe they want us to support the aftermarket! Cheers

Hey,
You can put springs on your GS and it will not affect the AVS. If you change the coils you need AVS specific coils.

Go full coilovers without AVS, you won't regret it. With lowering springs, you'll eventually blow your stock shocks.
Also, don't fret about not having AVS. I thought i'd miss AVS but I do not; I found the perfect damping setting for me and it's perfect all day, everyday. Ride comfort/quality is better than stock, IMO. Save the money for something else.

RSR Best-i coils are AVS compatible.
