Default my ES vs the GS? 2008 to 2006

i have a 08 es350 with 240k, i found a 2006 gs430 with 240, how do these cars compare? Should i keep mine or would a gs be a more comfortable car? How do the trans and engine / suspension differ?
Thanks

Ive driven both. Personally and obviously I picked the GS. To me the interior quality feels better. It is a comparison between fwd and rwd platforms so there are different driving dynamics. Powerwise the cars are similar. But obviously the 430 will have better lowend tq than the 350. To me the GS is more comfortable though backseat comfort seemed similar to me. Also the GS isnt as common as the ES so its kind of nice to stand out a bit in that regard.

Old post but felt like responding.

It all depends on what kind of driving experience you're looking for. I've owned both a 3ES and a 4ES, and they were very nice, comfortable, and quiet, with the 4ES being a bit more so. Soft suspension, quiet tires, and a far amount of get up and go. The 3GS is definitely WAY more fun to drive tho. Like mentioned above, its FWD vs RWD, and the GS suspension is a bit more rigid, which is better for cornering, but you'll feel bumps more. Also, the Michelins aren't as quiet on the GS as they were on the ES. Still prefer driving the GS, due to the sportiness combined with good luxury cruiser feel. and as also mentioned above, the interior materials in the GS are higher quality. If you prefer the quiet cruiser aspect of the ES, I'd hold out and try to find an LS to upgrade to.

They both have different performances and in my own opinion they’re both great cars, it just depends on preference.
