horrible experience with falken 452s
so i was on my way to riverside on the 60 east when i noticed the road was very wobbly... and when i changed lanes it didnt help. so it hit me "**** i have a flat" i pulled over to the side of the freeway and i see a tire from the left side just roll off... WTH... good thing there was still rubber from the side wall so my rims werent damaged but this is the second time i had a flat or some sort with the 452s. the first time it was a gash in the sidewall so whatever i dont know how that got there but i guess theres a cause but this time.. i dont know if there was a gash again but theres no nails or anything i had about 90% tread still left on that sucker -_- FML
PS> these 452s were on 19 in vs xx that i recently picked up from flip_side

almost every bad tyre story i read is FK452s.
i cant believe that people still run them over there. Falken are very uncommon here in Australia, and in fact dont even have a dealer over here in West Aust anymore as i once tried to get some.
At the end of the day the 'cheaper' tyres generally respond better to stretching as they are harder. this of course means noisier and probably less grippy, but its all a trade off!

I just replaced a set of FK 452's because both front tires were on the edge. One had a bubble and the other had tread separating. I am on the Michellin band wagon now. Its 40% more cost but they last 67 % longer and you have the peace of mind that you will not be hanging out not he side of the freeway waiting
