Default Snow Chains

Owner of a 2024 TX 350 Premium with the standard wheels (20"). I noticed in the owner's manual it does not recommend chains and says to use snow tires instead. Curious if anyone has used snow chains on the TX yet - can just buy based on the tire size but was hoping someone may have some experience. Thanks!

Keep in mind that there's a Big difference between chains vs a cable product. A cable product has a very tight fit giving your vehicle the clearance it needs. Though I have never used a snow cable product on a Lexus, I have used snow cables on two different Toyota Prius's with perfect success. I personally would buy and use a snow cable device for a Lexus...

The Konig product I was looking at (based on tire size only) is low-clearance and looks to be a good solution - there just isn't anyone that can confirm if it fits or not. Specifically its the
Konig K-Summit Tire Chains Konig K-Summit Tire Chains

Going to go ahead and purchase and try them out later in February. Will provide feedback if we end up using them.

I wouldn't spend that much on that product.

Take a look at the other snow chain thread further down this page, that product is what most police departs and the USPS use. Not to mention it's considerably cheaper.

I am also in SoCal and only need these in case there is enough snow/ice on the roads up to Big Bear as well. Snow tires are impractical for the price and use for us.
Take a few good pics of your install when you get them, we'd all like to see.
