Manual say TX500h fuel tank capacity 17.17 Gallon. I only could refuel 12.25 Gallon when low fuel meter show 5 mi. Total Mileage show 362 mi to empty. what difference 17.17 mi with 12.25 mi ?

the tank is supposedly 17.2. I've run mine to 0 DTE and fit 14 gallons in. The dealer says there is a 2.6 gallons reserve. But the math suggests there is a 3.2 gallon reserve. Not sure what the issue there is.

The DTE is a scam - it uses the unattainable 27-28 mpg against 14 gallons. Its not using real mileage experienced. And it's ignoring the reserve.
