The following distance safety feature on the steering wheel-is there a way I can change it to 1 following length and have it stay at that position until I change it again? It seems when I turn the engine off and then on again it defaults back to 4 lengths. And it greatly impact my driving.

that is weird. mine is set to 3 bars and always resumes at that distance whether or not the car was turned off or not. maybe something needs a software update or there is a setting to remember your last distance setting in the driver assist menus...
