TX AC Auto off on startup

TX AC Auto off on startup
Can anyone explain why this is a thing? I looked in the owners manual to see if I could bypass this but I don't see anything alluding to it. In the summer it can get average 98 here and I don't want to have to "turn on" my AC every time I get in the vehicle. WHY?

Every car that has auto off is default to turn off.
in service of the epa economy rating and emissions.
you can buy a little plug and play relay harness for the Honda’s (had one on my wifes last rig) that essentially “pushes the button” on startup so the system remains intact and unmolested.
I haven’t tried looking for one for my wifes TX since it is more reliable. (The honda would fail to start sometimes)
happy searching.

no, there is a setting in the touch screen. I was wondering the same thing for weeks as it got hot out lately and figured it out. dig through the vehicle customize or some menu like that. every time I turn the car on now the A/C is enabled and the blue light indicates it.

So this is actually not an issue anymore. Yesterday we had hot weather and I just turned the temp to 68 and it got ice cold automatically without AC light coming on. I also have concierge active with seat ventilation on auto.

So I wonder if AC is set Auto, then should I turn AC on? or just leave it off? I am not feeling much difference between AC on and off
