Default Thoughts on seats being narrow?

Has anyone noticed the seats are narrow and fit to hold a 115lbs soccer mom? During test drive I never noticed but now that I own one, after a 30min ride I felt a little “squeezed” in the thighs and I’m 6ft 180lbs. Just curious if others see them as narrow seats.

I do feel that as well. I think the bucket? is designed little narrower than other seats (it feels narrower than the Macan)🤔

I think your assessment that they are sized for average women is probably correct; it's certainly the way they market the car. My wife (5'7, 130) hates driving my F-150 and previous explorer due to the width and reach for her elbows to the rests and noticed right away how well the TX fit her.

I'm on the smaller size and daily drive recaro seats, so I find it pretty comfortable and like how it bolsters you in tight; but can certainly see how if you are broad shouldered or don't skip leg day it may be a bit tight!

I specifically got the luxury trim to have a more adjustable seat because of this. I have a coworker who test drove the f-sport 500 hybrid and he complained the seats felt awfully tight. I didn't read that at all online but I wonder if when the videos and reviews came out if no one had driven a 500 f-sport yet because it was so new. I am not a small guy and about 6 foot and fit well.

Default Narrow seats

Unfortunately you can’t get the hybrid in the TX350. So you have to go to the TX500 and then they change the front seats with higher bolsters and a narrower butt. Look cool and feel nice when you initially sit in them, but try them out for a 3 hour or longer road trip…not ideal for everybody.
I find it amusing that these companies need to make fitted seats that don’t fit everyone and are not comfortable for longer trips and think we all must be using them at the track on the weekend pulling 2g’s and preventing us from sliding off our seats!!

Yep! I'm slowly getting used to the narrower bucket seat, but again I really only notice after about 30-45 min of driving, then I re-adjust my seating position.
