tx550h+ level1 charging at home, and phev tax credit (forget it)?
Anyone doing level1 charging of tx550h+ at home?
Is the charging time about 5 to 6 hours, to go from 0 to 100%?
I don't think this applies to battery in tx550h+ phev, but anyone applied for tax credit of $7,500?

I am stinking LOVING this thing!!! I usually put it in Auto mode so the gas engine will kick in when I smash it for onramps, just for fun, etc. My wife usually drives around town, and we get about 30 miles with AC blasting full blast.
Level 2 takes ~3.5 hours. I plan on installing one in my garage, only because we have an electrical dryer outlet on other side of my interior garage wall and have a gas dryer. I want it for convenience more than anything.

Dumb question, i know. Only "one thing" i'm on the fence about, and it's a "want" not a "need". It's about that missing pano roof. And i get (sort of) the gist on why it was left out on this phev.
But anyone was on the fence for 550h+ for everything it is and do, but the missing pano roof was/is the deal breaker?
I know, silly right, so much of car, for so little petty item. But pano roof do help with the (perception of) interior room, space. And is "nice" for the (rear) passengers.
But then again, we have similar pano roof on our x3, and the maintenance and repair (eg. leak) when they happen can be a messy situation. Seems 50/50 on hate/love relationship with pano roof, in general. Not to mention the pano roof glass "explosion" some people experience(d).
This tx being the future daily for the wife, and seeing how she always closes the pano roof on x3 along with the shade when she drives it, seem like no brainer whether pano roof is actually needed.
In fact this being 2019 x3, i don't recall when we ever cracked open the pano roof. I do myself open the shade when i drive it though, and kinda nice to let the light in, in a not so sunny day.

I hear you CLT... My wife definitely had Pano as a must have. Guess what? She loves the almost zero cost of gas for daily/weekly around town driving more than the pano that was deemed must-have. I am sure by 2030 they will have one. I know other MFG's are working on PHEV with 3 rows, but I am glad we got this now and didn't wait.
