Hello Team, has anyone installed illuminated door sills in their UX? I have a 2020 UX 250h premium, but it didn't come with them..

I had them installed in my UX 2019h at the dealership right after I bought the car. Love them. I didn't put the chrome sills on the rear doors because I have kids going in and out and thought they would get scratched up.

I didn't have them when i purchased my '19 UX F sport, I installed them - has worked great to date.
I only did the fronts, as the rears never get used other than when I carry the pups in the back.

Car is pre-wired for it so it only took like 20 minutes.

Hey tofuprod, You mentioned the car is prewired? I pulled my door sill the other day and didn't see any open plugs. About where under the door sill was the open plug? Thanks....

Yes! I really love having them. Had the dealer install because I'm not savvy. I thought they would only turn on when the doors open but they're always on. I'm cool with it!

I also was surprised they are constantly on, but it's not a distraction when the door is closed.

Yep, don't see them at all while driving so it's not a problem. Last week my car wouldn't start because I didn't drive it for a week and the battery died. (Had to have it jumped.) None of the lights were on BUT my sills were still illuminated!

This is how they should operate:

They are on in full brightness when you open the door. and when you shift into Park.

When you shift into Drive or any other gear like Reverse, they should either be dimmed or turned off.

Just got an OEM set. Installation was not hard...cool blue lights!

Yep, I just pulled off the panel, and I did'nt find the plug as well. While I find out there are two harnesses attached to the illuminated door sill. I have no clue how to plug those in.

I finally found out where are the plugs located. Even though it is kinda tricky I still can install the cool gear by myself.
