Hi all,. I have a 2019 ux200 43k miles
Trying to decide the best course of action
In October I cancelled my enform because I was going on a multi month work trip and my car was going to sit for a couple months at home.
I resubscribed in early January and waited a week for activation
Called support they resent the "activation" signal no luck
Called back after a couple days and was told they can't do anything more and to take it to the dealer
Its out of warranty so I wanted to try and diagnose this first
got a cable and copy of tech stream v18 and did the following
pulled the negative battery cable for an hour
Did a full health check no codes anywhere
Was able to connect to the telematics module
Able to go thru each menu in the test
Unable to complete a dcm activation (probably because I don't have a subscription to tis and I'm not a dealer shop)
Entertainment system has been updated to latest version from 2021
On screen unit shows dcm icon and show dcm signal icon with a line through it (I'm assuming that's why it isn't activating with enform)
As far as connectivity everything else works I don't use their app suite just Bluetooth to my phone, all speakers and mic works
I'm thinking it's down to the following
1) DCM is in some bizarre disabled mode and I need the dealership to manually turn it back on though TIS
2) my DCM somehow has a bad cell radio but isn't throwing a code
3) antenna disconnected somehow (car has never been taken apart internally)
4) antenna on roof might be bad?
5) DCM might just be bad im betting if I get a new one I'll need the dealership to make a new one work with it
Any other ideas guys? I'd rather not spend the time for the dealership unless I really need to just for remote start to work again

A while back my App could not communicate with the UX anymore. Eventually noticed on the screen that the DCM Icon was crossed out or indicating that it was not working. Put off going to the dealer as they are not that close.
I then had the windows tinted. When I picked up the UX it all went funny with error messages and low batterie indication and that I should see the dealer. Car ran fine though. Once home I connected a basic code reader and erased the batterie error. It was then when I noticed that the DCM was working again and the app connected. Figured the low batterie level reset the DCM module.
Seems you already tried that though by disconnecting the batterie. Good luck figuring it out.
