I'm also looking to purchase a 2025 UX 300h this year! I test drove a 2024 that they had on the lot. Considering that it's a small luxury hatchback, I really liked it. Interested in hearing some experiences.

I’m not seeing any reviews of the 2025 UX300h which compare drivability with the UX250h. Anyone have first hand experience? I know there are numerous internal engineering differences, beginning with the new engine. How does this show up in the real life drive experience? Thanks!

I drove both back to back. The 2025 UX 300h felt more refined and with noticeably more torque when stepped on. It was also quieter. Not gonna blow you away but you can tell the 5th gen hybrid system is better. The rear electric motor is now a permanent magnet motor with considerably more HP and Torque. The battery is now lighter and Li-ion vs Nickel metal hydride. The only reason to get the 250h is a considerable deal off MSRP

True….the new version (UX300h) is vastly improved. It’s a different car now.

I just got my ux300h this tuesday. Here are some of my first impressions:

1. LOTS of gadgets (I came from a 2012 ct200h!)
2. I got the 10/year/12,000$ 'gadget breaks $7000 repair bill' lottery ticket
3. I like the drive, and being higher
4. I DONT LIKE the expensive tires $450.00! And a VERY concerning "These tires only last 20,000 miles"
5. I got the tire insurance
6. GREAT manuals (Its nice to see these in 2024!)
7. VERY nice android auto experience nary a blip.
8. The charger (wireless) seems a bit weak, but it seems to work
9. LOTS of usb C( YEA) ports (2)
10. Lexus safety 3.0 functions seem mostly good, adaptive cruise control nice, lane assist, not so much
11. I LOVE the position of the screen, its the first in car screen that I haven't hated.
12. Nice ride, but like most ux'es its a bit noisy on the road (ride that is).
13. GREAT mic for cell phone, the first one I have EVER had in a car that doesn't sound like a tin can!
14. I would have liked a pHEV, but they were NX only and WAY spendier than I wanted.
15. NICE auto dim for the high beams and automatic lights.

Its a nice color, and I mostly like it, but I was sad it wasn't an AWD model. I do get better gas mileage, and since its North Carolina we don't exactly have evil winters. The cruise control takes some getting used to WAY too many buttons, but it seems to work once you read the manual. And I do like the moving the garage homelink under the rear view mirror. Its hard getting used to after 12 years of having my old video screen in the rear view mirror.

If I were to give it stars, so far **** and minus 1 because of very expensive run flat tires.

Default UX 300h and LSS+ v.3 ?

Hello all,
I am new to Lexus and this forum.
I am a US citizen living in Europe and could not find a good forum here for Lexus.

I recently got the new UX 300h "dynamic" (the entry level). So far we love it . Our other car is a 2005 Mini Cooper, which is great but it is a hard sporty suspension and gets uncomfortable and noisy on long drives.

My question has to do with the LSS+ version 3 that is supposed to be the new upgraded safety system. I cannot tell if my car actually has this upgrade installed and cannot find any place in the console screen were to determine this. There are many features listed a standard for version 3 that I cannot activate on my car. The Lexus customer support in Greece, so far, has not been very helpful. They just refer me to the owners manual (I had to print and bind myself from a PDF!...very annoying that Lexus does not give a printed manual with the car).

BTW, in the manual, it states that it only has information for LSS+ V2, and that to check in the system what version is installed. But...there is no way to do this as I can tell. The manual also instructs to go to the manuals webpage to look for LSS+ updated manuals, of which there is no such thing.

Does anyone have suggestions ?

Thanks.

I can only speak to the US version. I have the premium trim and it came with printed manuals. All the documentation speaks of LSS 3.0. When looking at the vehicle driver assist menus on the infotainment system are you seeing all the icons that you can enable and disable?

sorry, I hope that gives some perspective.

Thank you for your comments. Indeed it could be we see some difference in Europe.
For sure my manual (the most recent 300h download from 8 January 2024) admits only to speak to version 2.
I am attaching some images of the 2 driver assist menus so you can compare. Please let me know if yours are different. I am very curious!😁
Cheers.

These are the icons in the "vehicle/drive assist" menu. They are on/off selectors.

This is the settings/drive assist sub menu. The sub menu to "driver support" has many items to toggle, i.e. proactive driving assist; DRCC; and lane departure alert system.

we have just taken possession of 2025 UX300h. Drove 120 miles through flat an rolling hills. Very impressed by cruise control. Car almost drove itself. Slowed for curves, vibrating steering wheel alerted me to white or yellow lines.
