its good to have those control horns near the steering wheel, more driver centric. Frees up space from where the drive mode selector used to be

Im sure since this is a cheap small SUV, it will sell like crazy!
they are all-new engines actually, 2 out of 3 introduced first for this model... what made you think they were carryover old engines?

Regardless of the weak engines and etc, which tbh how would this be a weak offering if the engine is all new?
The interior seems like a nice to be and basically outclasses say a lumbering beast that almost costs twice as much such as a GX

Side note: Sad the GX now looks to be the grandpa, left behind with everyone having something better even at the lower end in regards to cabin look

Jaguar has that new E-pace which also seems like a turd. The F-pace has such a shoddy interior I can't imagine how bad the little brother's is. Heck, all Jags save for the F-type are half-baked. The E-pace is pretty expensive for its class too.

I like it. Thank goodness it doesn't appear to have the blocky rear end like the renderings might have indicated. Rear end is still a TBD, but I'm actually pretty optimistic.

And did anyone notice the Mark Levinson logo? Hopefully offered in N.AM!

It's so crazy where Lexus has gone with the styling these days. But on this one... I LIKE IT! The body size and shape works well with the funky grille and melting front intakes. And giving it one-piece headlight assemblies and no filler between the hood and grille render a much cleaner look. I'm a little worried about the luxury content inside though. There appears to be very little bright work and no wood (yes, I see it's the F-Sport model). The NX suffers from the same problem. And the rear remains to be seen. For decades, solid connecting taillights have been an old man's luxury car trademark. I do not feel it properly fits on sporty vehicles, but it seems this is the next trend across the board (They run out of ideas and need to rehash old ones for the sake of having something "new").

So far, I'd go for this if I were in the market. Now it's the NX's turn to step it up a few notches. And hopefully the next ES adopts the clean hood to grille feature.

Did you notice seats? Look like from F model... or steering wheel from LS? Or combo LCD screen from LS? Lots to like. This interior looks way more upscale than NX for instance.

It looks upscale because its an F sport model. The regular UX will look stupid like the regular NX does.

I'm really liking the addition radio controls near the RTI. I've been looking forward to that.

Oh my. Hope they arent really planning on competing with a wheezy 4cyl in what will be a pretty heavy vehicle in a segment with turbocharged engines. CTh version 2.0. At a minimum, they should put the 2.5L from the Camry in this thing.

Agreed. I believe the larger engine should have been used. But those in this class aren't focused on power, and considering both the gas and hybrid variants make more than the CH-R, then this might turn out to be just fine for the masses.
