Greetings,
I purchased a UX250h last week. I’m noticing an intermittent creaking, clicking type sound (sounds almost like a children’s toy) at low speeds (<20mph) when I depress the brake or accelerator. The sound is also observed when releasing brake/accelerator. I’ve owned 4 other Lexus vehicles, 2 of which were also hybrids and have never experienced this. I can’t imagine that this is normal. Any thoughts would be very appreciated. Attached is a short video where the sound is evident with the volume turned the whole way up. *Note: there was also a squealing sound secondary to a rotor defect. They machined it and it seems fine now. This creaking/clicking sound was unable to be reproduced at the dealership. Also, I apologize for the duplicate post. I’m new and didn’t know the best place to post.

I don't think that's normal either. That said, I do think it may not be the easiest issue to get a dealership to fix. Did you show them this video?

I reached back out to the dealership and reported that I was still concerned and had a few videos. I sent this one and was told it was probably normal. The brake/accelerator creaking is actually getting much more frequent. This just can’t be normal in my opinion.

Frequent is good. You want it to be more apparent and occur more often so that it has a higher chance of doing it when it's in the dealership's hands. They can't fix anything they can't reproduce so you want it to get worse. I had a sunroof rattle on my GS that started off intermittent but I had it on video. I took it to the dealership and they couldn't reproduce it so they couldn't do anything about it. It finally started getting worse to the point where I could reproduce it 100% of the time so I took it in again, drove it with the dealer tech in the passenger seat and was able to get it to rattle during our test drive together which ultimately led to them finally fixing it.
