What's possible on a highway drive? With my CT200h F sport, highway long trip, i can average about 50.0 mpg comfortably. doing 70-72mph, ac on. 55 if i go slower and try.

Funny in the desert it's the opposite, you get peak mileage at night and during winter. The summer months its 110 degrees and power/mileage always takes a nose dive.

Bought a 2020 UX250h back in the end of April. Have consistently gotten between 50-55mpg each fill up so far. Mix of city and highway driving in the Chicagoland suburbs. Mpg will surely drop in the winter because of the cold.

Just curious why you guys are getting 30-40 mpg? I got 40mpg before on my old Nissan Sentra

I've had my car since the first of June and have been consistently getting 41.4 mpg - combo city/highway driving. The car's system is telling me this and I have also manually computed the mileage.

I haven't reset my fuel consumption counter in a while to get a long range consumption. It's been at 5.8 l/100 km (40-41 mpg) for a while now. I drive mostly in the city and lately have been a bit heavier on the pedal.

Always do. The reading from the car is quite accurate.

I always keep track of how many miles with each fill up divided by the amount of fuel I end up putting into the car.
Example: I drove 440 miles before reaching the time I need to fill up. Put in around 8 gallons of fuel to fill up. 440/8=55. 55 miles for each gallon.

I would call myself a chill driver. I accelerate slowly and coast to stops to regenerate.

Ok so I re-verified my fuel consumption just this weekend. It's still consistently 41 mpg give or take a fraction, whether it's mostly highway or combined. On the highway it's driving at 72 mph with 2 adults, total weight about 350-370 lbs including stuff in trunk. In the city it's with 2 adults around 80% if the time. a/c was running all the time. Note that the car reading for mpg was right on

just got my ux250h last week, traded in a 9yr old CT200h

the first 200km, getting about 30km/l or 70mpg, usually drive within the eco range and HUD first level mark

my traction battery is only at level 3, perhaps I have not driven it enough to recharge fully

Chicagoan here too with similar "commute".

I get about 45mpg with daily traffic and such prior to cold weather. Once the cold weather hits I'm in the low to mid 30s.

Mine has settled in at 6.7 litres per 100 km after 12 months. Pretty consistent no matter what kind of driving. I don’t do any special coasting or modified driving, just use like a regular car. Keep in Eco and flip to Sport if some Highway passing speed is needed.

Mine is doing 6.8 - 6.9 with the current cold weather. But I was doing about 5.9 in summer/fall.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I took a 6000 round mile trip from Oklahoma to Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces in our '07 Prius, and was thrilled with the average 53.1 mpg we averaged. This summer we are in our 2020 UX250h, and taking a similar trip to the Pocono Mountains and then down to Alabama beaches. We have been equally thrilled, and after 2000 miles have averaged 46.8 mpg,on the dash, and 46.02 calculated, far better than expected, and better than the EPA rating. This is with a fully loaded car (month long trip) at highway speeds. Needless to say, we continue to love this car!!!

Another great mpg trip
 

Just returned from a three week trip from Oklahoma to Jekyl Island, Georgia, and then to Gulf Shores, Alabama. During the 3000 mile trip, which was predominately highway driven at 70 mph, we averaged 44.54 mpg (calculated, while the car is pretty close to accurate) which thrilled us with the high cost of gas (although nothing like the blue states). This little car has been a great surprise!
