You would need to find out the bolt pattern and offset on these wheels. Usually it’s stamped on back in one of the spokes.

Bolt is 5 x 112, offset 45

We need 5x114.3, with wobble nuts and hub centric rings you can get this to work. The nuts are called exactly that.

Is it a safe assumption that most wheels in the 18"-20" range with that bolt pattern would fit?

Nope. Not safe to assume. You still need to consider offset.
