Hello.. does anyone have experience driving in winter conditions with the UX250h? I may be taking in the mountains where some of the roads are poorly maintained.
Thanks!
Thanks!

We've had a couple of mild to moderate snow storms here in Chicago so far this year and my UX250H has held up just fine.
Most of this handling, if not all of it; is due to the tires that are on any vehicle. Tires make all of the difference - I can't wait to ditch the factory run-flats that come with these cars (Bridgestone Turanza EL450s), I'd rather put on Goodyear Eagle Sport or Continental DWS for where I live.

Winter driving is fine and the eAWD is more than adequate with all-seasons but in deep snow, winter tires will make all the difference regardless of car.

I can't imagine driving in the Colorado mountains during Winter without Winter tires - the severe service kind that has the mountain/snowflake symbol on the sidewalls. I've carried tire chains and have been required to mount them at checkpoints such as when taking the Loveland Pass shortcut to A-Basin. I've encountered black ice many times especially during the bizillion times I've driven over Berthoud Pass to/from Winter Park in darkness when snow melted by the sun refroze. The first thing I do after buying a new vehicle is to buy an extra set of wheels and Winter tires. All our vehicles are currently on Bridgetown Blizzak Winter tires - those suckers stick to ice.
Buy yourself some Winter tires and wheels and don't risk crashing like a lot of Colorado cowboys do. You don't want to go crashing down the mountain into rocks and trees when you can't negotiate a hairpin curve. Winter tires can transform a vehicle from being scary to being fun to drive on snow and ice.
