Disable seatbelt alarm ux250h
Hey everyone
New user here, and new lexus owner.
I wanted to ask how to disable the seatbelt alarm for this model please.
I've done a lot of research and have tried the method suggests in regards to holding down trip button and plugging in belt, and variations around this etc, but doesn't seem to work for this ux250h. Would anyone be able to assist please.

For front seats I use these:

I hate wearing seat belts and those disable the dinging.

If it's anything like the NX/RX you should be able to disable the chime in TechStream. Plus you can configure other options. I have both the driver/passenger seat in my wife's NX disabled for the seatbelt chime. But the rear seats are still enabled.
I normally take my seat belt off when I am in a parking garage and the annoying beeping sound is distracting when trying to maneuver in a tight *** parking spot.

There may be a small number of options which aren't listed in the document, aren't self explanatory, and I had to Google to understand.
The Bluetooth device and 1 month of the app are cheaper than the hour of labor the dealer charges. You can also change your mind without paying to have the settings changed every time. Finally, I used the same OBD device with a BMW specific app to do similar things on our second vehicle, and I can do friend's and family's cars as well.
