Illuminated door sills

Yes, I installed the Lexus branded door sills with my son. It took about 20 minutes.
Can't speak about non OEM, but the branded ones came with the connector brackets included, so no need to splice wires, which was a concern of mine. My biggest issue with the lights is they are constantly on, along with the floor mat lights.
If you have a specific questions, please ask.

No drilling is required. Assuming you get the Lexus branded door sills it is all plug and play. Install directions can be sourced from the parts department when buying the part. We figured it just by doing it. Directions will make it much easier.

The connections are at the footwell light. You remove the connector at for the footwell light and install it into the connection for the door sill, then connect the other door sill light bracket where the footwell light was.
So below the glove compartment and below the dash.

Well the door sills arrived but my son tried to install them and the ones for the back don't seem to match up. They should just snap in like the original ones - correct?
Did anyone who installed them have access to the PDF file for installation? He thought he could do this but is confused.

Sorry no instructions. Try emailing the place you sourced them from. It should just be pushed in.
just in case you didn't do it, is it possible you swapped the passenger and driver side back door sills?
