Question 2023 Lexus UXh Production Schedule

Reports have the 2023 UXh arriving in dealerships in late summer of 2022.

If in fact the 2023 UXh are available as of August 20th - September 20th, does that mean they will be produced in Japan beginning in late July?

My March 28/22 order for a 2022 UX 250h was in the queue but morphed into a 2023 model in June.

Has anyone heard when 2023 UXh production will be started?

Default Dates for 2023 UXh

The UK Lexus document listing the 2023 UXh changes states the model will enter production in August. A dealership told me that they'd have their demonstrator car end of September. However, I was also told the configurator on www.lexus.co.uk would be updated to reflect the 2023 specs in June but this hasn't yet happened so I'm wondering if the timescales have slipped.

This is the notice on www.lexus.co.uk
Specifications shown are for model year 2022 UK vehicles, and subject to vehicle production lead times, the model ordered may be built according to model year 2023 specification. It is anticipated that your Lexus Centre will advise you of any changes in specification, and any price implication once your ordered vehicle goes into production (at the latest), at which point you have the right to accept such changes, or cancel your order and have any deposit returned to you.

The new version is already configurable on the Lexus US website. Probably this week will be available in other countries, I have the 2023 ordered since May and I hope this means the new version will start manufacturing next month.

Good Morning jacme

Thanks for the heads-up. Sure enough the Canadian Lexus site has the 2023 UXh ready to configure as well.

We ordered a 2022 UX Luxury (Mar 27) but while in the queue, Lexus dropped the 2022 model.

All we had to do was select a new exterior color (Iridium) since the Atomic Silver was being dropped ~ Appears the cost is virtually the same

Eagerly awaiting our new Lexus UXh!

Ordered mine in Celestial Blue although in Spain comes with different wheels. Hopefully it arrives soon.

I talked with the dealer a couple of weeks ago and the CRM system says early november as expected delivery date :S. However, he told me this was not aligned with the information coming from Lexus in April-May, that delivery times would be greatly improved in H2 from 3-4 months to 1-2 months from placing the order. So he was hopefull it would arrive October and, if very lucky, late September.

Received word yesterday that our 2023 UXh would likely arrive on the West Coast of Canada in the first half of October

Originally the timeline was 4 to 6 months ~ mid October will be 6.5 months. Given the shutdown in early June of the 2022 and resetting the production to enable 2023 UXh vehicles to be delivered to what feels like, expectant parents, I guess 6.5 is within the original timeframe

Just got a call from my dealer, the car has been built and it has been loaded into the ship. Expected arrival mid September. So 4 months since placing the order. Nice.

Default Order placed August 08 22

Dealer told me 6-9 months. It seems very long, wouldn't you say.

6 sounds reasonable. 9 not so much, mine is about 4.5 months but I think I got lucky. Maybe it's the colour, i got it in celestial blue which is not that popular.

Mine will be CLOUDBURST GREY with the Luxury package. I usually get the base model, that will be a change. I'm in Canada, still need to think about the winter tires. About you?

Spain, no need for winter tyres here xD. Btw I have ordered the business city variant which is basically the base model with full parking assist (front+back sensors) and the electric folding mirrors. So maybe that has something to do with the delivery times as well.
