Hello everyone. I own a LexusUX250h (2021). I am getting horrible gas mileage despite driving conservatively. It continues to decrease no matter how I drive (heat off, ac off, heated seats off, eco mode, etc.) Last winter I was averaging 39-42 mpg, now I am at best 33 mpg (dropped into the 32mpg recently too). I have taken it to the Lexus dealership several times and they keep insisting nothing is wrong with the car, basically pointing finger at everything else from gas stations to the driver. My husband owns a non-hybrid SUV (BMWX1) and his mpg has not decreased and we go to the same gas stations. Furthermore, when I drive his car, I do not make his average mpg drop. In short, just want to hear everyone's average mpg and see how my car/crossover compares. According to Lexus stats, the average mpg of 33 is what the UX200 would get (which is not a hybrid). I paid more for a hybrid with the thought that the gas mpg average would offset the increase in price. However, that does not appear to be the case. Thanks in advance!

out of curiosity, did you put new tires on the vehicle for the winter?
winter blend gas does cause a drop in efficiency but you should have the same mpg as last winter

I'm in IL as well. I drive typically in normal mode, sport mode sometimes for freeway use.
My ux250h in the winter I get about 33mpg in the winter, about 40-44mpg in the spring/summer/fall. Has been consistently like this since I purchased the car new in August 2019.
I'll add this with a grain of salt, my old LS460, I was averaging about 20mpg, and in the winter times it was a whopping 8-10mpg.
You also need to factor in the fact that the hybrid is most efficient for local/city driving. Winter blends as added in above, does drop efficiency.
