okay....i'm like terrified in posting in this thread... but it's the look i'm going for........ so reading everything... I'm just looking for opinions and help from the VIP diehards to see what i can do to help better my car's appearance and have it be accepted in the VIP community as a VIP styled/inspired car. i understand that my car is not a true VIP car and probably never will be no matter what i do to it being that i'm not on one of the original platforms... I understand that.

i'm hoping for constructive criticism... i know my car to most of you is
and i apologize...but guidance and help with wheel fitment and anything else would be nice... rather opposed to just saying that's not VIP.

1) Post up a picture(s) of your car (be sure to give good profiles of the wheel fitment and stance) and tell us:

wheel fitment as of July 4th i still need an alignment and such but before i do that i'm looking for help from you guys just in case i need to add spacers and etc.

19x8FF 19x9RR +30 offsets with a mild stretch of 215 for the fronts and 235 for the rears

i know the width of the wheel and offsets are weak
but this is my car before being lowered just for comparison

2) Do you think it's VIP?

no..... but i'm crossing my fingers for VIP styled??

3) What VIP components do you have on the car?

umm... gintsuna, silver fusa, neck pillows, anceltion curtains, ame's?,... i dunno if my "custom eyelids" would be able to be considered as a VIP item. The JP cars for the most part has eyelids on them... green tint, pin stripe and a JDM wooden steering wheel for the IS is coming also (rare item for second gen crowd)

4) What additional VIP lifestyle Items do you want to be considered?
nothing else...that's all i got

5) Do you want advise or input on any planned VIP mods?

I do... any help at all is appreciated... i wish i could go lower... but i can't... i'm slammed on tein ss's in the back and the front if i go any lower i won't be able to get out of my driveway.

Pictures before the rear being lowered even more

i want negative camber.... i'm not sure how i'm going to obtain that with my current setup... i might need to get a whole new suspension unless you guys have some tricks up your sleeve...

okay.. so.......

IMO....you're car looks fine as it is. If you're happy with the way your car looks, that's what really matters.

I always wondered who decides what perfect fitment is. Everyone has different criteria, everyone has different taste....who's right and who's wrong. And who really cares?????

llamaboiz, please exit this thread.

I've publicly asked twice and already had to remove some of your earlier insulting posts. Next time you elect to continue the insults and name calling here you will lose access to the VIP sub-forum on CL.

I can't see how some people think that a VIP platform with no kit, no audio, no interior, no other mods besides being slammed with flush wheels is a VIP car. This is what confuses everyone. THIS IS NOT THE ONLY CHARACTERISTIC OF A VIP CAR !!!!! Why so many think it is, is beyond me....
I agree with this but the interior doesnt apply to every platform. Let me use Lexus as an example since this is a Lexus forum (but can be applied to other newer flagship cars that are fully loaded). A LS430 with the Ultra Luxury package comes with real Suede headliner (alcantra), Reclining and massaging rear seats, rear window shades, Heated rear seats, rear windshield power shade, high quality leather and real wood grain on every panel. Swapping to micro-suede or most aftermarket leather cover replacements would be a down grade.

Mike is right, it isn't Suede, it is Suede-like composite material.

Is my car consider VIP? I am still working on it, but I think I am getting there, no?
