3M double sided tape. rails and the hooks are either metal or plastic depending on which brand you bought. the ones i have are manual pulls. even the s55 amg merc i got a ride in the other day were manual pulls on the doors (albeit they are roll shutters that come out of a flush compartment at the base of the window and pull up), but the rear glass shade is motorized.

My first glimpse of the VIP curtains was on my friend's IS300. After that, my research and investigation had begun. So far, these curtains are only available for cars that have fixed inner lining rails within the window's perimeter.
Unfortunately, there is no manufactured fitment for a SC430 due to the convertible hard top. When the top is up, the curtain rail will work but then I can never pop the top down again.
So, I will be buying the conventional medium size curtain, either Garson or Anceltion curtains and probably modify by adding temporary rails when the top is up and simply removing the rails when it's time to pop the top down.
I believe I'll be the first SC430 to have these curtains unless there's already one out there that I haven't seen yet on the internet or in person. I don't know how it's gonna look so this project will be interesting.
Anyways, I'm inspired by this thread and also plan to get the glove box table as well.
In the meantime, I have added a couple of my own VIP amenities of my own personal taste.
