Default Chrome fender trim revisited

So when I first saw this pic:

I was kind of taken back. I mean, normally chrome fender trim is found on ghettotastic cadillacs and older GMC's. It took me a while to come around to them. Now I can say, I like them. What I realized was, you can't think about the other cars you've seen with chrome fender trend, you have to look at the car as if its the first time you've seen chrome fender trim on a car.

When I looked at it that way it really grew on me fast. I mean come on, Junction Produce does not come out with crap, or put crap on their cars. That trim obviously looks made for that car and looks quality.

I think if I had a LS and wanted to tie in the chrome handles and other chrome trim then that would be a viable option.

What do you guys think? Still against it?

IMO, no to the fenders, they make the car look too busy, its just a little much. Most of the people I knew that liked chrome fenders and that put them on their car also like curb feelers as well.
