Question, Is there anyway of making my IS VIP?
I drive a 2001 Lexus IS 300, and I have a 1 1/2 inch drop. I roll on 19's. Is there any way that I can make my car have that VIP style. I know car is small but does anybody have advice besides sell my car. LOL thanks is advance

A good place to start is to distinguish the difference between a VIP car and a "VIP-styled car". You can mod an IS all you want, and it will only ever be VIP-styled".
VIP platforms (true VIP cars by definition) are pretty much limited to GS/Aristo, LS/Celsior, Cima/Q45, etc. .... big body cars from Japan. there is an article somewhere on here that runs through all the Japan-only models, ...Presidents, Cedrics, Glorias, Crown Majestas.

ebruce2, i dont think he is taking the literal term (although i do still feel it should be educated to those who want in). anyways, VIP12, go check out solo's IS(use search plz). it is very nice, and i know people can pull same/better than that. it's hard to get somethin nice than that tho =p

You can also check out a new article that just came out from SEMA.org. It explains aspects of VIPstyle that can be done to any other car. It is true that the IS300/Altezza is a non traditional platform, but that doesn't mean that VIP inspired modifications can't be done to it. Solo's car is a good example of a non traditional platform with VIP inspired modifications. "Auto Luxury" is what Falken tires is dubbing it as, and I think it will grow in popularity since the base or platform of the modifications is limitless.
