300C is more a DUB car than VIP..
I saw one yesterday on the highway with similar mods, I don't consider it VIP...
maybe I am biased, haha, I just think these car are cheap...

I had one as a rental when i was in LA last summer and it was cheap.
Even my wife said "Compared to the lex this thing feels cheap!!!!" and she's not into cars at all..LOL
Get in one and it shows. The 5.7 Hemi hauls, no question about it. The details on 300's and Magnums shout cheap. I would have really like to see what these cars could have been with less weight, a stiffer suspension, and a quality interior.

exactly what I was going to say. It takes about 10 seconds to look at the interior in these cars and see that damn near everythingin this interior is a cheap, pebble grain-looking plastic. The dash in my father's Cherokee is the same way. The fact that Chrysler can charge upwards of $40K for on of these and people actually pay it I just don't see it.
If I personally bought one of these, I would take it to an interior shop immediately and have everything wrapped in leather or suede at the very least.

I read an article comparing several large sedans including lexus LS430 (i think), Audi, 300, etc. The 300 beat them all in terms of being cheaper and fast (the hemi one I guess)...but they all complained about the LAME amercian interior; no fit and finish, bland and ford-like. I actually sort of like the 300C (not over lexus of course ) but its a shame they got miserly when it came time to do the inside.
Anyone have / ride in a newer lincoln LS? The interior is pretty nice; perforated leather and good looking wood grain for the money. Don't know how it compares to the 300.
