Duramix makes a couple very similar compounds as well. I cannot remember their specific numbers, but i have built a couple very intricate bumpers and helped with the construction of others.
Here is a pic of one of the bumpers i helped fabricate. Car was daily driven that low and nothing ever cracked out once using duramix products, until the car met a wall head on...

The owner of the car is one of my best friends, he is still in the hospital recovering from his accident. Here is a link to the article written about the car. Not sure if this belongs in this forum, but Duramix products were used throughout this vehicle and the end result was flawless, all work done by his own two hands with many late nights in the shop between the two of us.

God I love those things. I'm trying to make my younger brother buy one so I can help him mod it. That thing is SUPER CLEAN.
So can something like this compound help me fix my oem front bumber that is cracked on the side?

If you use the proper kind of plastic fusor, not just a glue substance, the chance of it cracking out under the stress of scraping on a speed bump is negligable. I am not saying its impossible, but if you PEOPERLY fuse the components together, the bond is strong yet has proper flex to take a decent beating.
The front bumper on the silver GTI I posted above is pretty much mostly fusor by the time it was ready for paint. The thing took abuse like nothing and never cracked out once.
