i went with a 285/30/20 in the rear and a 245/35/20 in thr front! i got maya rts in the same sizes everyone else gots lol 20x9+30 and 20x10.5+29 lol
i think i might go either 255/35/20 in the rear next time or just 275/30/20!! i like to have a wide tire in the rear. But currently im running into slight rubing problems in my rear with the 285s!!

I'm on 11 inch rims, so the offset is different, but just wanted to show other options. With the 25 series and shaved inner lip, I have zero rub.

Your all forgetting one thing... tire brand. Every tire brand runs differently. Some run true to size, some run smaller, others run larger...
For example, I'm running nankangs.
This is a 255/35/20 on a 20"x10.5"
Here's my front which is a 225/35/30 on a 20"x9.5"
NO RUBBING!!!

Yes the PS2 is a more squared off sidewall. All the more to point out that I was able to make this 295/25-20 fit with zero rub, no fender pull, no tire stretch and camber "within" factory spec. Only with more aggressive offsets would cambering, tire stretching or more fender mods be required.
Here's my Non-VIP version of flushness:
