Saying goodbye to VIP scene

Haha I forgot all about this thread! I ended up getting an MR2 instead of the S2K. It was just a more logical decision. With the economy the way it is right now, i didnt want to have a car note and higher insurance on me every month, just in case I lose my job or something.
I bought an N/A 91 MR2. Bone stock, super clean in and out, all original body panels and paint, 120K miles. Plans are to swap in a Turbo motor within the next few months.
I've been debating whether to go with a full lip kit and some wheels, make it kinda flashy. Or just getting the stock turbo wheels, factory lip, and painting whatever exhaust I get black and just making it look clean on the outside, but mod the **** out of the engine.
This car is SOOOO much more fun to drive. I'm never bored driving this thing, and after driving my Boat of an LS for over a year, this is a really nice change. I think I'll keep this one for a good while BTW, Yes, i removed that nasty *** old purple tint you'll see in the next few pics. Planning to get the tint done very soon.
Already tearing stuff apart.... You guys know I cant leave things alone for too long This while I was installing my alarm, new speakers (I need my beats), fixing my A/C, and pre-wiring my car for the factory turbo fog lights.
I promised myself to build another VIP Style car in the future though, most likely an LS430. The one thing I hated about building my UCF10 was the lack of parts for it! But i guess it made it all that more exciting to find rare parts for it. I was soo happy i almost pee'd a little when I was at the junkyard and found the optional car phone for my UCF10 hahahaha. i see a lot more VIP Styled cars out there now too, and it makes me miss mine. Every time i see one I think to myself "Damn, if i was still driving the LS we'd give each other the thumbs up"

Damnit I cant wait to get my swap! Thats a nice trunk mount setup. I was thinking of all the options, and I decided to build an Air to Water intercooler setup, and also do water injection. Ugh, I need my swap already
