Agreed. On a 10.5 you can go like 245 and get a nice stretch or 235 if you want a mean stretch. But for a 9, it's hard to stretch on a 9

i do Nitto neo gens and 555's. I love them.
tried Falken 452's, not a fan. SW's guy will push them for days.

Nankangs stretch really good too and they don't break the bank. I've about 3 sets already on my LS and my mr2 together.

hankook stretches the best from my experience! even stretched some nankangs and they held well too. worst tire is achilles.
