Default air solenoid location theory.

Hi, so my air setup, all air solenoids are in the rear trunk. So when you hit the switch to pop the front up, the air has to pressurize the whole line. Im wondering if you had the front valves as close to teh front bags as possible, would it take less volume to fill, and also it will react quicker.
Is my thinkign correct? Anyone have a setup like that?

U will not notice the difference. I have the VU4 air manifold so it's in the trunk.

it will not matter the only why to speed up the pressure is to increase the line size

I do have a question for you though op why are you asking about elevel when you don't have AccuAir management. most Manuel valves don't work well with the elevel they normally stick and do allow the car to calibrate correctly

im wondering in that case to go to larger line. sometimes u gotta give the bags 100 psi for them to pop up, then down back to 80 for drive height. if u do just 80 it wont pop up

It take a certain air pressure to lift the car. If there is already pressure in the line less pressure is needed to lift up

If you go larger line the car will lift faster and dump faster which is harder to control

well i have 3/8 line already. The problem i think is the tank pressure switch is too low. its a 110/150. Car will never raise to fuill height if you try to pop up 4 corners at once. have to do front first, then rear, comrpessor comes on, wait couple minutes, hit the rear again then your full up.
See otehr guys are running 140-175, and even 160/200.
I got twin viar 380c 100% duty cycle, 5 gal tank and 3.8 line. I think the volume is there, jsut not enough pressure.
Think a 160/200psi switch is a good idea?

what's management are you currently running. I would change out the 380 to 400 to start make sure your pressure switch is 200psi able. the 3/8 is fine for lifting and lowing, that size line makes for a smooth transfer of air from the tank to the bags with out putting undo stress on the suspension.

accuair v4 manifold, dakota doigital management.

viar 400s?? 33% duty cycle, 150 psi.. flows .07 more cfm at 150 psi (which is its max).
Mine are 100% duty, huge factor in my book.

if anything i like 444 or 480s

ui dont think i can fit anythign bigger than a 5 gal in the spare tire well unfortunately. I have subs and amps in the trunk, so no room for another tank up top

alright, why the heck is this guy able to hop up and down twice! without the bags filling, and it just pops up? AND hes runnign 1/4 inch line, i ahve 3/8?

is it just the pressure?

granted thsi guy has 1.2" lines, but DAMN he just pops right up!

5 gal tank too..

I only run 150psi in my tank and my tank is only 4.5gal. I can raise my car from 0psi all around to ride height once, if my tank is full. Its not fast but I dont need or want it to be. Try raising your pressure and see if that helps.

The 380 is crap and the 400 is the same compressor as the 444 but at a better cost. Why do you think we sell the 400 as a stanard instead of the 380? Why do you need to fill up so fast if you are just lifting the car and driving it. You never need the extra air unless youare playing with your car all the time. I can alomost guarantee My 400 will out last your 380 any day. 2 yrs and still working.

He is running 3/8 line for sure. He also could be adding nitrogen to his tanks UAS bags always fill faster than strut type bags. You can also do this by not letting all of the air out the lines when dumping the car. The line size dictates how fast the car will lift ,you can only push so much volume though the lines size.

Air clinders do not need as much volume to lift up. that how it lifts so fast.
