My Budget VIP Inspired Build

Thinking about selling
So the entire definition of VIP has some people confused, and with all of the hype I am really thinking about selling my car and starting over with another platform. I tend to get bored easily with cars so I have a tendancy to flip cars a bit. I now have my ls460 bumpers in place but I cannot get any work done for a few weeks since Stance Nation will be in Dallas on June 29th and eveyone is getting ready for that. Here is a few more pics of how she sits right now. Not bad IMO........

confused about what exactly?
but just the rims (a tasteful set btw) and a drop on your ride has it looking proper already. unless you want to go for something more aggressive and extreme or just plain newer, what do you hope to achieve by switching up the platform? i think it looks pretty damn good as is presently
see the wheels really do make a difference

I think the car is starting off well. Try not to get caught up in labeling "VIP". JUST KEEP IT CLEAN. IMO: You got a lot of Small things to be done that can go a long way in looking better. 1: painting the bottom half black will make a big difference. I found a guy to paint mine for 200, looks great. 2: tint the windows. 3: replace all amber with clear lense. Find a good deal on some RCR taillights. You have a lot of Small "budget friendly" mods you can do that can go a long way to make this car look even better. I wouldn't give up on it.

So I sold the car
I posted up locally on Craigslist. Funny thing is selling my car was like interviewing people but I wasn't going to sell to just anyone with cash. Fortunately I found another enthusiasts that knew the potential and had the cash no haggling etc. So she's gone now.

This was a steal
I got the gs400 for $2k. It was sitting on ghetto 20s with brand new 245/35s, had an exhaust leak, needed a tuneup, struts were blown, previous owner cut the springs so low that it wasn't functional to drive. I copped a set of Tein coilovers for $200, I traded my 01 oem tail lights off my other gs for some sport design type led tails, new wheels.
I'd say I'm moving pretty quick. I'm going to do my exhaust setup next and then start my custom body kit.
