FS: Chrome Altstadt Type IV
Hey, I'm selling my chrome Altstadt Type IV's.
18x8.5" up front and 18x9.5" in the rear, I think they are +43 offsett (it's 40 something, I'll double check on it). True 3-piece wheels. If you search the gallery under my name you will see them when I had them on my car. I was running 245x40x18 up front and 275x35x18 in back. The only rubbing that occurred was while parked if I turned the wheel as much as I could - one front wheel would barely rub a nickel sized spot of dirt off the inside of the wheel well... so they never rubbed while driving.
These were used for a little more than a year, about 10k miles and have been sitting in my garage for the last year.
The rear wheels are perfectly fine. They lay flat. The front wheels are not. the front-passenger side has about 1/4 curb rash and a bend on the medial side of the wheel. The front driver side has a small bend on the lip. I will get pictures of the wheels up on Monday the 16th or Tuesday.
There aren't any local repair places and that's why I'm selling them. The 2 bends will need to be straightened and lips re-chromed.
I'm asking 1300$ (that's including the shipping and packaging). These come w/o tires. Rims alone retail for 3k and have to be imported from Japan.

Bump for the hot wheels and great price.
I wasn't going to buy new wheels this year. I just decided to keep my 19"s now I've got to reevaluate. I'm lucky enough to have a good repair shop here. I hate these decisions.

and here is where most of the damage occurred. this is the medial edge of the front passenger wheel. the outside of the lip is scraped about 2/5 of the way around. both front wheels lay flat, it's just the bends. the rear wheels are fine as it was the 2 front wheels that took the brunt of the curb.
