Not yet. No $ in hand. A bunch of "if you can wait x amount of time", or nibbles and then changed their mind. It's all good though as I know that it is part of the buying/selling process. I already bought my new wheels so I am not waiting for this sale to get the others. I can be patient.

I currently have 3 who are interested but not on a fixed schedule because of various reasons, so it goes back to no $ in hand yet.

Do they still have tires or did you take them off?

Tried to PM you Neo but your box is full.

I am interested and have the cash, a couple of questions...

1. Are the pilot tires on?
2. Is the +45 offset what everyone runs with these wheels? I just want to figure out if the pictures in this thread are a good representaion of what they would look like on.

TIA

Sorry about the inbox. It is constantly full and I don't have enough time to manage it. I do maintenance on it once a week.

Anyway, I need to change the title. The tires deal is past since I put the deadline on EOS (10/23). I might still be able to swing it but it will be more difficult logistically. With that said:

1. My old pilots are still on but the new ones are not.
2. The wheel only comes from L-Tuned with +45 offset. There is no choice so (other than the drop) it will look like the pics posted.

Status: I am currently talking with one NorCal and one SoCal member. The NorCal is not definite but is local. The SoCal person in not local but close enough that we are trying to see what we can do to save on shipping.

If these do not work out, I will let you know. If you have more questions, feel free to email me:

neo.one@gmail.com

Thanks.

The tires (as I said above) are difficult to get now (although not impossible). The sizes would be 235/40f and 265/35r. This would be just a bit smaller than the stock SC430 size of 245/40. The bolt pattern is the same though.

Hi guys,

I've had a number of inquiries lately and I wanted to update this thread. The tires are no longer available. They are in SoCal while I am in NorCal. I was able to offer them relatiively cheap partly because of the timing of EOS. Someone was going to bring them up for me but that did not happen since no one confirmed at the time. I might still be able to get the tires but it would take more work and time to coordinate it and offer it at the same cost.

I was also able to get a few more pics of the imperfections.

Here are the pics.

Edit 10-12-2004. Road wear on Front 1:

Better pics of the weird blemish on Front 2:

Better pic of curb rash on Rear2:

Thanks for looking. Let me know.

Sorry. I know it has been a little while since I posted this but there have been activity behind the scene. Buyers come up to up to bat and then change their minds. I have no problem with that since circumstances change. It lengthens (timewise) the process though but I can be patient. The only thing that is costing me now is space in the garage.

Yes, that was a No with explanation.

You are actually on the list. I just have not totally exhausted the locals list yet. I have been talking with some non-locals too but only to make sure they know this is what they want while I answer whatever questions they have. If you have additional questions, feel free to email me (neo.one@gmail.com). Once my locals list is done, I will move on to the ship list.

It seems that most want the tires too. I just want to clarify that I currently don't own the tires yet. They belong to a very good friend of mine who also had them on these same L-Tuned wheels. He never used them since he wanted a different size. I did not want to buy the tires from him (although he is holding them for me for now) until I had a confirm paid (or at least a deposit from a) buyer.

The L-Tuned size is 235/40 and 265/35. Many here seem to prefer 245/40 and 275/35 and these wheels will accomodate these tire sizes. This is why I am leaving the option open for now and have not myself committed to buying the tires. I thought someone may want the rims and buy the 245/275 tire combo (although the package price I had is much more cost effective).

What is the difference between the 2 tire size setups? The profile?
