Custom Painted & Polished 19" Rims SOLD ! ! !
This item is SOLD !
Well, I 'm finally taking the plunge and as soon as I sell these rims, I'm going Dubs. The rest of the NorCal big wigs are already there or will be upgrading soon (Shhhh !), so it looks like the pressure is too much to handle. A lot of you know my story, but if you don't, read the following. You will see that I put a lot of work and $$ into these rims, which IMO are better now than when I bought them new.
Here's the technical details first:
19 x 8.5 F, 19 x 10 R, Phalenx wheels by Enkei.
0ffsets +38F, +45R
BIG 3 1/2 inch rear lip.
Inner lips polished as well
True 3 piece modular wheels with forged rims. Unlike cheaper rims that are not forged, these forged lips are very strong and this type of set up is typically found ONLY on more expensive brands like HRE and I -Forged.
Forged rims like these are much harder to bend when hitting pot holes and big bumps. Never bent these lips after 15k miles of usage.
These will clear BBK, TT calipers, etc. The pics show the the front wheels with AP Racing 6 pot calipers, but I had SupaTT brakes previously. No spacers required.
Wheels were professionally bead blasted and repainted gunmetal gray. A like this shade a lot better than the factory gray, which had a green tint to it. Most people don't know that gunmetal colors can have a green, blue or brown tint to it. These tints don't match up as well on a silver, gray or black color car. I picked this gunmetal color, because it is very pure gray, with no off color tints.
It is very close in color to the gunmetal gray offered on a 2004 VW Beetle. I used that color as the base and had it tinted a shade darker.
These wheel rims were professionally polished inside and out and they were machine checked for trueness to be perfectly round with no bent lips. There are some areas on the inner lip that were not highly polished, but there's no way to tell when looking from the front side.
Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 245/35-19 F, 275/30-19 R
Rear Tires are almost new with less than 2k miles on them. The Michelins are very costly, but they pay back with long lasting mileage as they have a high tread wear rating for a performance tire.
All the bolts holding the 3 piece wheels together were replaced with brand new Nuts and bolts made by BBS. You can even read the logo right on them. They were torqued to spec at 80 lbs. So you see these wheels were professionally refinished, painted and re-assembled.
Front tires are used. I swapped the left to right side tires because they were wearing slightly more on the inside due to camber. I'd say they have about 5k miles left on them as long as you have minimal negative camber like I do.
All tires were mounted and balanced on a Hunter. None of the tires have ever experienced a flat, so no plugs or patches.
The center caps were custom made with Lexus logos, with the "L logo" coming off of an actual OEM cap. Note: Factory center caps on stock rims retail for about $50 each.
These wheels originally retailed for $3700 new. I would have never done all this work, except one rim got damaged from road debris and the wheel shop did such a great job repairing the one wheel, so then one thing led to another and . . .
The almost new rear tires cost me $670 from the Tirerack.
The repainting of the rims, polishing inside & out lips, disassembly and reassembly of the 3 pieces, tire mount & balancing cost $1000.
The BBS bolts cost me $150
I’ve got $1820 worth of work done to these rims & tires with less than 2k miles driven since the work was performed. That doesn't include the original $3700 that the rims retailed for.
First $2000 + shipping gets em. My loss is your gain. I prefer a money order or personal check, plus time to clear. PayPal payments add 4% for processing fees.
I am a moderator on ClubLexus and a member for over 4 years with 2000+ posts. A ton of people personally know me on the forums, who can vouch for my credibility.
Don't PM, please e-mail me at RMMGS4@aol.com. Priority will be given in the order that I am contacted through e-mail, indicating you may be interested.

Lexus Champion
Bump for nice rims. I can vouch for both the rims and the seller. They look really sharp in person and are really cool in motion - the spokes disappear and the polished inner barrel shines through.

EV ftw!!!
Why is it that amazing deals like this have a nasty habit of popping up only when either (1) I have already done a similar upgrade (2) When I don't have the funds to do it?
I want to vouch for this seller as a great guy to do business with. The price seems to be a steal for the wheels! Look at that reflection on the inner barrels!!!! Can you say blinding??!!!
Good luck with the sale Glen! I am trying to talk a friend of mine into buying these wheels. I don't want to reveal his name here. He will either contact you directly or post here himself.
Here's a pic of the wheels on Glen's car:

Ya never know. It sure would be different than any other combo out there.
Well Photoshop will be a good way to see if it could work.
