does that converter let you add a CD changer to your factory head unit????

The converter is an outboard D/A converter that permits the reading and conversion of a digital signal to analog. I used it in my last system to bypass the DAC inside the changer as the Zapco D/A converter was a cleaner signal. In theory, you could use the D/A to add a cd changer to your foactory head by interrupting the analog signal from the head unit and using the digital input on the D/A converter and feeding it with the signal from a cd changer with a digital output. How?? what are the cheaper ways other than an FM modulator, I want CD sound. Please help

To my knowledge, FM modulator is the cheapest method. However, you will be sacrificing from appx 100 hz and down and from 16K and up in sound reproduction
