Leets

So I bought this set of discontinued Altstadts off of another member here on CL, but just test fit them last night to find that they won't fit.

So I'm looking to unload these wheels because I can't use them on my car. Here's the specs:

Altstadt Type 1
Size: 17x8
Offset: 42
5x114.3

The wheels have been used and definitely show it. Two of the wheels have very minor dents and curbage, but they're easily fixed and can still hold air in their current condition. The third wheel is still round but has also kissed a curb. The fourth wheel does have some minor visual imperfections, but doesn't need much more than a good polish to make it look brand new.

I bought these wheels used, and haven't touched them since, so I'm just asking what I paid $350 firm. I prefer local pick-up in Orange County, CA. I will consider shipping, but I'm not paying shipping charges.

EDIT: I'm currently thinking of going with 18s, so will consider trading 18s for these plus cash.

Just out of curiosity, was it the bolt pattern or the offset. I'm trying not to run into that myself from ordering off ebay.

Offset... the wheels are 8 inches wide with a +42 offset. I put them on and they hit the strut. From the looks of it they need about a 10mm spacer to clear the strut. From what I've heard from other experienced members, the ES will only fit 8" wide wheels in back if they have at most a +35 offset.
