I'd thought about it however, since there is a specific rim that will fit our cars, I figured I'd get more responses here strictly from 2ndGen IS owners.

Just picked up my AWD with stock 17's Oct 28. Would consider selling the wheels but need time to figure out replacement wheels (thinking 18s for summer and 16s for winter), and what to do with stock tires.

Hey guys, thx for the response. I'm told I need to keep the staggered setup for the rims. Or the ABS and other things won't work. But I think I can fit a wider tire on the stock 17 inch rims, in other words, are the rim sizes for the stock 17's the same size, regardless of whether you have an AWD or a RWD IS?

FYI: 17's from the AWD are NOT staggered.

Thanks, right, but the 17's in the RWD are the same size rims as those on the AWD, however the RWD car has staggered tires. Wider tread in the rear.

However the 18's on the IS350 are actually staggered rims, 8inches wide up front and 8.5 inches wide in the rear.
