I know it doesn't have the deep lip because that's the new style in Japan according to JP Japan. At least that's what the owner said to me a SEMA.

the difference is like what Benjamin said, theres a logo. and that the japan scaras come in 18-19, where as the oz scara come in 19-20. they look almost identical. but the price is way different..oz scara msrp around 2k a pop, where as the japan scara msrp around 1k a wheel.

if i am not mistaken, these are NOT "JP Scara by OZ" but "JP Scara Japan". The appearance difference is the engaving. Furthermore, if my memory served me right Scara by OZ is forged vs. Scara Japan is cast. That is why you see the huge differences in price.

Anyways, good luck with the sales. still a kick *** deal (including tires).

correct, they are JP Scara Japan (built by Riverside)

the OZ Scara not only have the engraving, but to me, they look diffrent. the spokes are thinner, they flare a tad toward the top of spoke.

EDIT.... ok maybe the OZ's dont flare at top, but give that illusion since they dont have the thickness on sides
