Thanks Steve for the update.. Can't wait to see how these look.. Too bad they didn't come out in a staggered setup.. Any other products on the horizon from TRD for the SC430??

1SICKLEX,

Those wheels should fit on the GS.. For kicks I put the original SC430 wheels on the GS to see if it would work but I don't have any tires on them at the moment and they still look like crap IMO so I have no plans to put them on the GS.. But bolt pattern and offset if no problem.. Its all good!

Those are some sharp wheels. Will they fit the 98 SC?

Hey guys Just got my SC430....must say the stock rims are not much to look at, but they are kinder on the eye then those rims. I dont care for them at all, but the price is pretty good for anyone who wants an upgrade.

Default weight of new wheel

Steve, how much does the new TRD 8x18 wheel weigh? The stock wheels on my 2002 SC430 purchased Spring 2001 weigh 37lbs. No point in the new wheel unless there is a significant reduction.

Man those wheels are hideous. At least the stock ones are incognito. Who the hell designs these things. Where did it come from the Helen Keller School of Automotive Engineering? People you can do much better than those for that price, no offense SupraTRD....not your fault, but they are just plain ugly. People chrome is not the way to go these days...it belongs on a 1988 CRX, some chrome does indeed look nice, but most of the time it doesnt.....ok let me tell you how I really feel now.

I agree. I do not think they are very attractive. If they came on my car, I would pay $2,000 to put on the stock wheels.

How dare you offend me ..........To each his own, I prefer a different type myself.......I'm partial to the 3-piece or forged wheels.......

HAHA Steve.. Actually the wheel doesn't look that bad except for the lack of a significant lip.. But to each his/her own..

Here is a better picture of the TRD wheel that Carson was nice enough to post up on the SC430 Picture Gallery.. Thought I would throw it in here.. It does look like it has a little more lip action than I thought.. Steve can you get these in a staggered format at all??

I'm sure if you could it would attract more people to them..

Ken
