Default 19" Moda R6 -

Just got new wheels so I am trying to get rid of these Moda R6's. I have pictures of them on my GS in my photo album on CL.

These wheels ARE slightly bent. Which is why I replaced them. I have done the research and they are repairable at various shops throughout the country. I do not have time or the drive to do this considering I have new wheels on my car.

Let me know if anyone has any interest in these. There are no curb marks or cosmetic damage.

$150/pc for the wheels. I live in the Chicago Area.

Do you have any current pics of the wheels? Which wheel is bent? What size tires were you running and also how do you think to repair?

Yes, I can post them early this week...

3 of them are slightly bent. I was running 245/35-19 on my 1999 GS300. The wheels are 8.5" wide.

There are speciality shops all over the country which have special eqipment to make the wheel true again. Most of the time they will make them true and then repaint/clearcoat them for one price. It should be less than $100 per wheel to repair the slight bend..

What is the offset? The R6 only comes in 8 or 9 wide, not 8.5. Are they all four the same dimension?

The width and the offset will be stamped on the inside such as 8x19 and etxx. Also keep in mind when repairing the shops often charge more for the two stage powder coat such as the R6's have to get that hyper silver finish. I have a shop locally that does a great job if anyone needs a reference, they charge from $165-$200/ wheel to true and refinish; also it is best to refinish a set of four at once if you want a true match in color and finish. I had a set done that were slightly bent and they came out great.

Attach the link to the pics so we can view. I had these on my 98 Ls400 and they are a nice wheel that moda should not have discountinued.

There are shops in Chicago (where I live) which will do it for about half that price....

I am going to pick them up tonight from the tire shop so I can take pictures then..

Didn't mean to scare off buyers, they are awesome wheels, I have 3 sets, in 18". They would be well worth refinishing, but I would do all 4 to make sure they match.

Did you get a chance to check out the width and offset? If anyone needs Moda specs here is the link:

I sent out some emails for quotes.... I am not interested in getting these fixed before I sell them. I just want them out of my living room.

but before I put down $600 I would like to know how much to fix each wheel to get a sense of it even being worth the trouble.
