that's the funniest thing i've read this year... water throwing your balance way off...

Water would sit in the rim and look like a little puddle. It only happened when it rained or when I washed the car and drove over 50 mph, it vibrated to the point of where you couldn't even handle it

I have never had that problem as I always sucked out the water in the barrel. Even in the rain I have never had this problem. I still fail to believe it as I've been in many 3 piece Hre's, Kenisis, you name it. Maybe if you have a pool of water and messed up weights. Either way if that's the case do not buy 3 piece wheels.

Tungo I sent you a PM about your offer.

Johnny's car had no problems with rubbing. You'll have to ask him about the suspension.

Maybe it is just iforged, but my friend has a set of hre 540's on his gs and it has this problem. We get freak weather here in the midwest, so I was just curious

when the goodyears were mounted, it took 3 people to drop the tire onto the rim, cuz the sidewall was hard so there were a lot of wheel weights thrown on it. could be just iforged but my friend hre 540 on his gs had the same problem. none the less, i take your word for it not happening on the works. pm replied

fyi, i have no relation to the OP, nor do I know who Johnny is.

I have the same exact wheels, except my rears are 10s. also, i'm on t1r's too. I've driven in the rain and after washing my car w/considerable water in the wells w/out any odd vibrations. These are exceptional wheels from Work!

GL to the OP on the sale! to fellow vsxx'er!

Yeah, this is very interested as I have never run into this problem. You got a reply.

Thanks. Yeah, especially considering you have almost the exact same setup. There are many people running VS-XX and I have not once heard of this problem with these wheels.

Also, I forgot to mention your fenders may need to be rolled. I completely forgot to mention this as I assume everyone has done this, but obviously not eveyone has.

I only have minor drop, like 1.5 inch in the front, do I still need to roll the fender?

Also, will you just sell the rims, no tires?

The fronts will be fine without rolling. The rears you may need to roll or trim. You don't have to, but I think it'll rub when you hit dips. If I sell them without tires and you replace them with a smaller rear size you should be fine.
