FS - Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245/40-18 (4) (6-7/32)
SOLD
Set of 4 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245/40-18
They have 6-7/32 remaining. I tried and tried and tried to get a picture of a ruler in the tread, but I cannot get focus.
No sidewall cuts.
These are off of my car. Summer tires aren't practical for me, and I've decided not to run two sets of wheels.
At 6-7/32, they ain't new, but they still have a bit of use left. I figure someone might have a situation that calls for them (selling a car that's on maypops, backup set, fun, etc.)
$140 for the set picked-up or pay actual shipping from 21045
I got some UPS estimates for Ground/Residential
NY - $70
FL - $75
NE - $90
TX - $103
CA - $115
Somewhere in between should be something in between.

That is an INSANE price for these tires.. I currently run them and these are the best tires BAR NONE for your ride. Oooh I wish I wasn't looking to maybe upgrade my 18's and didn't have 5 already. I would seriously buy them.

If I could run these year-round or could have seen my way clear to doing two sets of wheels, I wouldn't think twice about the PS2 being my tire. The stick is just awesome and the ride is fantastic.
I was amazed at how much the steering feel was affected switching to A/S tires. I really wouldn't have thought I (I'm just not that into it) could discern a difference. If you've ever had a car with variable steering settings - from "sport" (firm/quick) to "comfort" (soft/easy) - the feel on switching tires on my GS was like flipping the setting from sport all the way to the cushiest comfort setting. I'll get used to it, but the stark difference was surprising to me.

I got the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S. I was racking myself over the decision and a comment I read on the M&S ride quality settled it at the last minute, even though I was set to go with Bridgestone RE960 PPs. I was reading the Tire Rack forum and some other reviews.
There seem to be mostly marginal overall differences in most of the UHP A/S tires and the Pirellis appeared to be rated below Bridgestone PPs and the Pilot Sport A/S largely because of frozen precip traction. It generally snows just a few times a year here, and I don't have to drive in the the snow unless I get caught out somewhere.
I figured I'll take the marginal difference in ride comfort over the marginal difference in frozen precip traction.
So far, I'm happy. They're smooth and quiet. I'm sure I would have been happy with the Bridgestone or Michelin A/S as well.
As far as the steering feel, I suppose that would be the aspect called "steering response," and I'm just guessing, but I tend to doubt that any of the A/S tires give the same feel as PS2's. If they did, they'd put them on Ferraris, 911s, and the Veyron instead of the PS2.

I had those M&S's on my C-Class Benz and loved them. Great smooth ride. I picked up a set of OEM's from another CL Member and bought a set of the Bridgestone 960's to run on them. These tires are a steal at 140 for the set of 4!!!! GL on the sale!
