Default FS: UPDATE: PICS ADDED 18" OEM Wheels and Tires-Almost Brand New!

When I bought my IS350 in June 2006, I had new wheels and tires waiting for me at Discount Tire. As you would expect, I took my brand new car from the dealer straight to the shop to get my custom wheels and tires put on. Well, 3years later, the original wheels and tires are sitting in my garage and I've decided to part with them. Since, it was barely driven on, the wheels have no damage (just dust from being stored for 3 years). And the tires don't even look like they have been driven on!

I'm sure you already know, but if not, the wheel/tire sizes are:
Front- 225/40/18
Rear- 255/40/18

By the way, the tires are Bridgestone Potenzas RE050. These 2 tire sizes retail for over $200 each.

I will sell the wheel/tire set for $1500 shipped to the 48 contiguous states. I will also consider parting the set if anyone may be interested.

EDIT: As requested, here are pictures of the wheels and tires. The tires are wrapped around the wheel, but not properly mounted or balanced. That is why they may not look right in the pictures. Like I said, the wheels are good as new (just a little dusty) and so are the tires as you can tell by the little bumps on the treads.

Edit #2: In post #17, I've added more information about the wheels and tires that will prove how this package price is great for having less than 20 miles on them.

PM me with any questions. Thanks.

I don't think he has the x-package wheels, his car is an 06. The x-package wasn't available in 06.

It's NOT the X package. In 2006, the only standard 18" wheel was the split spoke, which is what I have. The G-Spider and the other 18" wheel offered was an upgrade with an obvious extra cost. Sorry I don't have any pictures at the moment. I'm not kidding when I say though, that these wheels and tires are as close to brand new as you can get without them actually being brand new. There are NO flaws, defects, dings, dents on any of the wheels, just dust from being stored for 3 years.

Yes, the wheels and tires are in AZ at the moment. To be honest, I don't know what color finish my wheels would be considered. I just know that they came with the car whether I wanted them or not. I'll be taking a few pics and posting them later today.

Shouldn't you decide for yourself whether these are "cool" or "non-cool"? Do you always have strangers make decisions in life for you? I'm not flaming, I just don't understand how people on this forum have to be conformists who base their decisions on the opinion of complete strangers!

Default Get your facts straight!

Your price is also extremely expensive. Good luck with sale, but remember you may be held responsible for any damage that may occur due to a tire disintegrating at highway speed.
I hate to tell you how wrong you are!!! Tires have a shelf life of about 10 years if stored properly. Popular tire retailers like Discount Tire, Sears, TireRack, PepBoys will only keep tires for a shelf life of usually no more than 2 years because they want to sell the most recently made tires. Perhaps you should get all the facts before making an attempt to block my deal with any prospective buyers. And regards to the price, send me a link where you can get brand new ones (exact same size and style, ofcourse) for under $200 a tire. I understand you MAY have had good intentions with this post, but if you were not interested then simply move on with your day and don't try to impress me or others with your PERCEIVED knowledge of tire shelf life. And as for the comment that I may be responsible if the tires shredded on the freeway and wrecked the car, again your wrong--used parts are sold "as is". If anything, Bridgestone would be liable due to a defective tire. Again, shelf life is not an issue with tires PROPERLY STORED and only 3 years old.

Oh also, go on tirerack and check re760 sports they are less than 200 and same spec for is350. Get your facts straight. Your combo is too expensive.

Once again you are WRONG!!! Please stop posting in this thread as you're not proving your point! Here are the links for the CORRECT tires, the RE050 Ultra High Performance Tire! You'll see that they sell for $205 before shipping. That's $820 before shipping.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....num=24YR8RE050

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....num=54YR8RE050

Also, why don't I throw in this link that shows the MSRP and discounted price of the 18" wheel that I am selling. Then you will see that my price of $1500 is not overpriced.

This first link shows an illustration of the wheel I have, it's number 3 in the picture. You'll notice the price on this wheel is MSRP'd at $567.07 for each of the fronts (18x8). That's about $1134.14 for the front 2 wheels.
http://www.mylexparts.com/partlocato...layCatalogid=0

This next link shows the price of the rears, 18x8.5 for the same style wheel. The price per is $579.53. That's $1159.06 for the 2 rears.

http://www.mylexparts.com/partlocato...layCatalogid=0

Ok, so that brings our total to about $3100 for the set brand new.
If you add up the discounte price for each wheel, then add $205 per tire (tirerack's price) you'll see that $1500 is still a great deal. I have posted pictures which prove the authenticity of my claim that these tires are good as new--less than 20 miles driven on them!

Anything else you'd like to refute?

I'd like to see that link for the exact same wheel that I am selling. The closest I could find to my wheel is the same design but with a carbon metallic finish which sells at Sewell for $1701 for the wheels only when using promo code CL911M.
