Default question: I want to change my wheels on my 02 ls430

Joe

I do have a question: I want to change my wheels on my 02 ls430 and am looking at a set now- However how worried do i have to be about the tpm system.

Can i manually shut it off? Does my year car even have it- Do i have to program the new wheels to the car? Please any help would be appreciated- joe

Also whats the first mod i should make to the car and then the second and third-lol

The tpm sensor isn’t located in your wheel like all the other newer models car have now a days. It is located within your brake system if im not mistaken. Im running on 20" in my 03 LS430 and i have absolutely no problem with the tpm system. Also if you have any questions regarding your ls430 i recommend you post it in the LS430 forum those guys on there have tons of knowledge and they will gladly answer any questions you have.
