Yokohama Advan S4's As-Is Condition - 235-40 R18
I have 2 Yokohama Advan S4's just taken off my 01 GS300 that I'm looking to get rid of. 235-40 R18 W speed
There seems to be a tread wear issue with the right directional tire, possibly because the prior owner drove on a bad alignment for too long. I've only owned this car for about 2-3 months and when I purchased it, the car was pulling right at times. It was weird though, because at times it would drive straight, but then pull for no apparent reason. Anyway, I had an alignment done at NTB and the problem still existed. They told me the toe was pointing in when they did the alignment.
So, just for the heck of it, I switched the two fronts (knowing this would mess up the directionals), but doing so caused the car to pull left. My assumption at that point was the front right tire had an issue. My car seems to be driving straight now that I've installed 2 new tires.
I would hate to toss these out because they still have probably 70-80% tread life remaining and these tires are $190-$225 a piece. Perhaps these would make a good cheap tire for someone or spares? Maybe they would run ok if installed in the rears? My car never had any vibration issues with these tires, just a pull. My rims are also bent a little which probably didn't help the matter.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I will post some pics. These are sitting out in my garage right now, under cover staying dry. I don't have a price in mind, so I am willing to listen to offers. I would need to check with USPS on shipping charges.

Ok here are the pictures. As you can see these tires still have a lot of treadlife remaining.
If I recall correctly, Town Fair told me they had about 8/32's which is roughly 70-80%. The last picture is a small tear I just discovered on the lip of the front right tire, the tire that was causing the pull. I don't know enough about tires to know if that is what was causing the pull, or if that has any impact at all on handling at all. It's not a very deep mark and again, it's not on the good tire which was the front left on my car.
Shipping will be in the ballpark of $15-25 per tire depending on where they are going to. Shipping will likely be via USPS Parcel Post unless Priorty turns out to be only a couple bucks more(which is possible to some zip codes).
Since these tires are $190 each new at a low cost retailer like TireRack...
I will sell the good tire for $130 bucks which is about 70% of the original price(based on 70% estimated remaining tread). Also, because there is an assumed problem with the 2nd tire despite what it looks like, I'll throw that one in for $20 bucks. So $150 for the two tires plus shipping.
The TOTAL Shipped price for both tires will be roughly $175-$190 depending on where I am shipping them to. Not a bad deal since 1 NEW tire shipped from TireRack will cost cost you over $200.
If interested let me know.
Also, I have some additional pictures if needed send me a PM.
