I have to agree. Volks are nice but how often do you see MB, Porsche, RR, Lambo, etc run volks? It's for a different set class of cars. I will have to admit that 3pc forged wheel companies are a dime a dozen now but 360Forged hit a homerun with these Mesh8s (and their Straight5 design)

Btw, these wheels are not pricey at all. I posted up my 19" Mesh8's with T1R's for sale for $5000 and sold it within 24 hours for $4700.

I actually tried to register at 6speedonline forums to sell these, but they have all sorts of crazy restrictions to post a classified... probably could of got $3500 on that site.

Bottom line: CL MEMBERS< THIS IS A CRAZY DEAL!!! kinda makes we wanna raise my price now, lol...

 

not volk but i see those cars run work wheels all the time, but ya those are some nice wheels but most people on CL prefer volks or work, that's why noone pick these up yet. i would say if those are Porsche or mb fitment, these will be gone long time。

 

For every one set of work wheels on "higher end" luxury cars, there are probably ten more sets of different variations of 3 pc wheels (HRE, DPE, 360, Vossen, Modulare, D2, on and on) that are sold.

Once again, not trying saying anything bad about works or volks but some people just think Volks are the best thing you can buy. Of course it all comes down to preference but I pick buy these 360's all day before ANY volk/mugen/Racing Hart, etc.

Now there are other japanese wheels that I really like (JP, Leon, etc) but we're not talking about those right now

Truth right here. I had (still have) a set of Work wheels that were on my M3 that I can't sell (price has been adjusted down and still sits here). I had HRE 840Rs, 545Rs, BBS LM, and even chromed out AC Schnitzers on my car that I sold relatively painlessly. It's all about the target market

They dropped the asking price down to $4200, still with no takers. You would probably have much better chances of getting them sold if you lowered to $2k shipped or so......

Just my .02 cents from experience selling 'higher' end mods. Came to realization that no one values the gadgets as much as the original purchaser.

 

ooooooookay, so $4200 minus $1K for tires (which we all know you can get BRAND NEW tires for less then $1K, but for illustration sake), gets me to $3200.. uh, I'm asking $2500!!!, still much less then the 'going rate'.

...bro, your comments are mildly offensive. I could see if these where beat up & 3 year old wheels. I just bought them for over $4K, just 3 months ago, 1 of which I wasn't driving on em. The lucky buyer is getting pretty much brand new $4500 wheels for $2500!

And when did this classifieds turn into a forum for debate? End all this banter. My price is 100% absolutely firm at $2500 which is a steal and frankly I'm low balling myself to keep this simple and quick.
