Yall shouldn't call people out for pointing out obvious things. He has probably seen more 3-piece wheels cut and assembled then any one you guys making the comments.
Not drilling the spoke area is just laziness on the designer and mfg of the face. Barrels are designed with 40 holes to be used and most of the time its the assembler who is too lazy to put the bolt in for whatever reason.
And yes I have taken my wheels off, apart, refinished, and reassembled myself and have seen this in action by some of Miami's big 3-piece wheel mfg to know.
